Full-Time Audit Senior Manager
Job Description
Our client based, in Durban, is currently looking for an Audit Senior Manager. You must have:
- Be a qualified Chartered Accountant;
- 4 to 6 years post articles experience;
- Specialist industry knowledge of IFRS experience.
The main purpose of the postiion is to manage client portfolio, maintain sound client relationships and manage the audit team, including the coaching and development of staff.
Job Description:-
- Manage portfolio of clients in respect to attest work.
- Manage special projects.
- Develop practice by targeting new clients.
- Risk management.
- Contribute to office management team.
- Monitor costs.
- Business development and client relationship building.
- Manage work in progress and debtors.
- Staff management.
- Compilance with audit methodology.
- Report writing.
Any business buying, selling, investing or employing staff in one or more countries is confronted with indirect taxes. Globally, governmentes are increasingly, imposing indirect taxes: sales taxes, general services tax, business tax, VAT, Customs duties, energy taxes, environmental taxes, excises, etc. New regulatory challenges arise further to Sarbanes-Oxley and similar rules in other jurisidctions. Unless you manage indirect taxes, your profitability will decrease whilst working capital requirements (cash flow) and risks increase. The primary focus will be to asset cients to minimise any risks associated with indirect taxes.
