Education/ Qualifications and Experience:

- Post graduate degree - LLB
- Admitted Atorney or Advocate
- Membership of corporate body (Law Society of SA OR membership of corporate Lawer Association of SA)
- Minimum of 6 years post admission experience in a commercial legal environment or commercial corporate environment
- Sound Management Skills are a necessity
- Sound Commercial Knowledge and experience is a necessity

Purpose:

Overseeing Global Legal service of the company, including:
- Global Management and coordination company legal counsel and legal dept.
- Global Management and oversight of Company contractual Matrix
- Global Management and oversight of Company Legal Compliance
- Global Management and strategic Determination of Company litigation.

Negotiating and drafting of complex multi-territorial and multi-disciplinary agreements

Global Management and administration of Company's intellectual property

Liasing with global advisors on tax, regularoty and other aspects

Management of approved budgets for company legal dept.

Advising on matters of corporate law, corporate governance, accountability and statutes and regulations
