KEY PURPOSE
The incumbent of this position is responsible for defining a project programme in line with the IT Strategy for BIS as well as guiding and managing a team of project managers and a project team to deliver against the programme whilst ensuring integration and interdependencies as well as strategic programme objectives will be achieved.
KEY OUTPUTS
Programme Management of all strategic FIN, HR & MIS IT projects: coordinate the project management resources allocated to projects manage the overall plan including high-level timelines and budgets liaising with business and other BIS teams
Ensure programme and project delivery is consistent with the BIS programme office methodologies and requirements.
Negotiate and manage master contracts/SLA with vendors providing services for projects e.g. Deloitte consulting.
Liaise with the Business Systems Executive and business partners to coordinate the FIN, HR & MIS IT Programme and manage the programme.
Develop, implement and maintain a programme status communication process to stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
B. Com or IT-related B. degree
Suitable project management qualification e.g. PMP
3 - 4 years consulting experience (including financial planning and control)
8+ years project management experience including the management of multiple projects
5+ years package implementation experience
Strong knowledge / understanding of value chain and support processes
Strong knowledge / understanding of IT processes and methodologies, e.g. change control, etc
Strong knowledge / understanding of IT and project management methodologies
