Applications are invited to join a critical mass of researchers who are supported by the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) to conduct a Phase II TB Vaccine Trial, to start on 1 July 2012 or as soon as possible thereafter.</span></p>

<p>- Reporting to the team manager, the successful candidate will focus on the calculation of fair value adjustments, especially price testing, bid offer and model risk adjustments, across all desks or product/asset class (i.e. Rates, FX, Commodities, Equities, Credit etc). He/she will also provide technical valuation assistance to the product controllers on each desk to ensure that all valuations control requirements are optimally met.<br />
- The role includes investigating problems, identifying and implementing required fixes, communicating findings to relevant parties. The candidate will be involved in complex trade review, and IT if development work is required, as well as the automation of various manual tasks where necessary.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Requirements:</span></strong></p>
<p>BSc Hons, BSc Eng with knowledge of financial instrument valuation<br />
Quantitative qualification an advantage preferable Honours in Maths of Finance or related<br />
8 – 10 years experience in Investment Banking or similar<br />
Good product and quantitative knowledge will be essential<br />
Proven IT understanding to succeed in a demanding trade support environment. Intellectual capability and strong communication skills. Also important will be the Ability to work accurately and independently.<br />
Knowledge and understanding of all asset classes.<br />

<p>BCom Hons in Accounting is a minimum requirement<br />
CA, MBA,CFA or similar qualification preferred<br />
Minimum 3 &#8211; 5 years credit analysis experience in an investment banking or corporate banking environment or similar relevant experience<br />
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant Investment banking experience<br />
Exceptional analytical skills with a strong accounting/ economic background<br />
Good report writing and presentation skills<br />
Must have good knowledge of Financial Market/ Treasury related products<br />
Must have a good knowledge of and credit experience in dealing with a portfolio of corporate clients or leverage finance/project finance</p>
